Twenty seven of these competitive IOR One Tonners were built from 1980 to 1987. Racing successes included 5 straight firsts in Cowes Week, RORC Yacht of the Year, Alan Paul Trophy for consistent performance and a class win in the 1985 Fastnet Race.
