Robert Mulcahy - Brokerage Manager

Robert started sailing with his family at an early age, racing his own Mirror dinghy at age eleven and then progressed through a series of other dinghy classes at both National and International levels before graduating to offshore boats in his late teens. After University Robert worked in the Commercial Banking Industry for five years before being asked to sail around the world with the Whitbread Race in 1993. He then spent three years working for a Yacht Broker in San Francisco before returning to work at Oyster Brokerage in 1997. Since the beginning of 2000, Robert has been Brokerage Manager.

Bob Marston - US Brokerage Manager

Bob Marston has spent his entire life around sailing boats. As a child he grew up on his family’s Alden Schooner sailing the coast of Maine and Canada. After University he spent 5 years as a professional yacht captain sailing throughout the Eastern US, Bahamas and Caribbean. With an intimate knowledge of yachts and their operation it only seemed natural he pursue a career in sailing. Before coming to Oyster Bob had worked for a wellknown yacht brokerage firm based in Newport and Ft Lauderdale. As a result of this experience Bob has a well rounded knowledge of both power and sail markets as well as the lifestyles sought by both types of customers.

Matthew Young - Broker

Matthew started with Oyster Brokerage in 2000, before joining Oyster Matthew spent 4 years in technical sales selling propulsion systems within the yachting industry. He has also spent considerable time sailing in the Mediterranean, and crewing smaller racing yachts in the UK over the last 6 years.

Tom Roberts - Broker

Tom started sailing suspended from the gooseneck in a bosuns chair of his parents Norfolk dinghy at 6 months old. From here natural progression through to Optimist racing and larger dinghy racing took place on the Norfolk Broads.

Racing on the Broads is still part of Tom's waterborne pastimes with the family, as well as waterskiing and powerboat racing.

His career in the marine industry started in Wroxham, Norfolk, selling sails and rig packages for Jeckells Sails. In 2004 Tom joined Fox's Yacht Sales as a Broker selling new Beneteau Yachts before moving on to his new career with the team at Oyster Brokerage in 2007.
